Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PinTool (the "Service"), operated by Bùi Xuân Hùng ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
PinTool is a tool that helps you generate, organize, and prepare Pinterest-style pin images and captions for content on websites you own or manage. PinTool does not publish content to Pinterest on your behalf; you review and publish every pin yourself, using the export the Service provides.
2. Accounts
Access to PinTool is by invitation/account creation. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
3. Your content and rights
You are responsible for the websites, articles, and images you use with the Service, and for confirming you have the rights to create and publish derivative pin images based on them. You retain ownership of the content you upload and the pins generated for you.
4. Your Pinterest account
Any Pinterest board information you reference in PinTool is used solely to help match your generated pins to the correct board. If you choose to connect your Pinterest account, you authorize PinTool to request read-only access to performance data (impressions, saves, clicks, and engagement) for your own pins and boards, solely to display that data back to you inside PinTool. You may disconnect your Pinterest account at any time. You are responsible for complying with Pinterest's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines when publishing content, including content prepared using PinTool.
5. Third-party API keys and costs
Certain features (AI image/caption generation) require you to supply your own API key for third-party providers (e.g. OpenRouter, Runware). Usage costs charged by those providers are your responsibility; PinTool is not liable for charges incurred through your own keys.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate or publish content that is illegal, infringing, or violates a third party's rights;
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data;
- Use the Service to evade the security, integrity, or anti-abuse systems of Pinterest or any other platform.
7. Availability and changes
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and we will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PinTool and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any action taken by Pinterest or another third-party platform in response to content you publish.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
